  Diploma (violin, cum laude) of the N.A. Rimsky-Korsakov School of Music in Petersburg
     
1990   Commencement of studies at the Tel Aviv Music Academy
     
1990-95
  Compositions performed in Israel by, among others, the Musica Nova Ensemble. Chamber music concerts with the Kobyliansky Quartet (winner of the Rubin Academy Competition). Scholarships from various Israeli foundations.
     
1995   B.Mus. (composition, cum laude) from the Tel Aviv Music Academy.
     
1996
  Conducting studies with Prof. M. Rodan, Jerusalem. First CD, Lirics, appears on the LA4 label (Tel Aviv). Recordings for Israeli radio.
     
1997
  Beginning of studies in Karlsruhe with Prof. W. Rihm. Scholarship of the Heinrich Strobel Foundation of SWR (German radio).
     
1998
  Second CD appears. Experiences with baroque performance practices. Study of conducting with GMD Prof. W. Stiefel (Karlsruhe).
     
2000
  Award of the Bavarian Academy of Fine Arts.
     
2001
  Concert exam cum laude. Commissions for the Baden-Baden Philharmonic (piece for children, performed several times under own direction), the Bavarian Academy of the Fine Arts, Institute Pro Arte St. Petersburg, along with arrangements for various ensembles.
     
2002-03   Composition and arrangement commissions, among others from the city of Karlsruhe, the Baden-Baden Philharmonic, Klavierduo Önder (an adaption of M. Balakirev’s “Islamey” appeared on CD from EMY Classics), and P. Kopatschinskaja (the “Essay” for violin and piano was recorded by SWR, Radio France and Swiss radio). Cooperation with Antes-Bella-Musika Edition. Chamber music performances in Europe, Israel, and Russia, mainly from the Book of Quartets, including a six-hour project in the ZKM in Karlsruhe, May 15, 2003. Participation as composer-in-residence and violist in the first Rüttihubeliade (international chamber music festival) with P. Kopatschinskaja, K. Lifschitz, D. Kobyliansky, and S. Gabetta, December, 2003.
     
2004-2006  

Performences in Europe, Israel und USA („Sonata ricercata“ with K. Lifschitz at the Maiami Piano Festival); piece for children, performed by Theatre Augsburg; SWR Production with Poems from The Book of Quartetts, songs, piano- and chamber music; broadcasting by SWR, BBC, DRS, ÖRF, Kol Ha Musica (Israel); premiers of „Esther de Racine“,  Motette for violine and orchestra, Variations for 8 Instruments and some other chamber music compositions; participation in „Schubertiaden Schnackenburg“ (as a composer), Karlsruher Kulturtage and 2. and 3. „Rüttihubeliade“ (as composer and viola player); composition and arrangement commissions of Münchener Biennale, Ensemble „La Morra“ and Ensemble „Muskadin“ (chamber opera Esther de Racine), Baden-Baden Philharmonic and others. New CD with Poems from The Book of Quartetts (Antes production); cooperation with Edition 49.

     
2007-2011  

new CD by Magadisc; Projects in Europe and Russia; "From the Boock of Qauretts" with Rosamunde-Quartett, "Der neue Engel" mit Dina Ugorskaja; new CD by ECM ("Song of Songs" with Rosamunde-Quartett and Hilliard-Ensemble) etc.

     
1988-present
  Studies and research in the areas of aesthetics, music history, theory, and interpretation. Development of methods in semantic music analysis. Active orchestra musician, teaching of theory and interpretation, work with assorted theaters as composer and accompanist. Sporadic conducting activities with assorted orchestras and choruses.
